Cycle Ti Thunder

I made another long ride into the state of Florida May 23, 2015. My wife +Sylvia Wormley   wanted to visit the Wakulla Springs State Park. We play this game where she picks out a destination that she wants to visit, and i ride my bike there and then we hang out and relax. As usual I could not stop and take all of the pictures that I wanted to, but here are the photos from the ride. Tractor on GA HWY 37  I like riding my bike down roads where there are farms.  When I get a chance to stop and take a picture of a tractor I do it.  I have never seen a tractor of this type.  I will have to research it to see what it is used for. Weather forecast for 2/21/2015 Yesterday I rode my bike from my house in Albany, GA to the What-A-Burger restaurant in Thomasville, GA.  The forecast for the day was for winds out of the SSE at 10 to 20 mph.  Normally I would not choose to ride under such conditions since I would be riding south for 75 miles.  I like to think that I am not an unusual fellow, but this sort of ride appealed to me so I went anyway. I have done this ride 3 or 4 times since moving to Georgia in 2010.  The What-A-Burger opened up in Thomasville after I moved here.  When I discovered it's existence I knew that I had an excuse to ride over 100 miles in one day. I read this article posted in my Google+ Long distance Cycling Community .   Touching the Void: Glimpsing the Mind of a Serial Cyclist I totally agree with the concept that long distance cycling is a puzzle solving event.  I did the same puzzle solving when I was training for my first 100k trail run. This article helps me as I think about my longest ride that I have ever done which was 145 miles.  I did it last year on 3/14/2014.  I rode from my house to the Gulf of New Mexico.  My Garmin's battery died, my phone battery died and my light battery died.  I could have gone another 50 miles as I was not tired, but my equipment ran out of juice. My longest ride on this bike was 145 miles I did not plan on getting hit by a car three days later. I am planning another ride to the coast.  I have revised some of my equipment.  I have lights that will always burn as long as I can peddle.  I have two spare batteries for  my phone. ...
